And I think I finally found a working method that keeps me entertained and the artwork moving forward. Going from a tiny thumbnail right to the 11x17 board has really freed up a lot of time and aggravations for me. It's much more enjoyable for me to work that way instead of all the light boxing that made me feel more like a tracer than anything else.
There is a lot of magic that can happen when you just start scribbling things out on the board.
Going in and attacking my pencils with tech pens was fun too, I used to think that was the total wrong way to ink. Until I learned Travis Charest is big on pens and that Rich Friend swears by the rapidographs as well.
Hooray progress.
